Potsdam Palaces and Gardens
The Sanssouci grounds are generous enough to absorb an age gap naturally. Younger kids head toward the terraced gardens and fountain areas; teens usually push further toward the New Palace or look for the Chinese House pavilion tucked deeper in the park. The estate covers nearly 300 hectares, so there's no need to do everything — the place rewards wandering more than ticking off a list. The historical thread is legible without much explanation: one king's very personal obsession made into buildings and gardens, readable 300 years later.
